Ever since 1Password 8 came out of beta, every update causes the app to start randomly stealing focus. For example, if I'm working one window and then click into Chrome, 1Password will pop up on top....

I've also started having this happening on 8.9.8 build 80908009 (I'm on macOS 12.6.1).
I'm seeing two problems:
- When you close the 1Password window, it reopens a few seconds later. This pushes it to the front of the Cmd+Tab stack, making it very hard to Cmd+Tab to other apps.
- Even if you don't touch the keyboard, 1Password will steal focus intermittently. If you've closed the window and it's "reopened", the app still gets focus in the menu bar even though the window doesn't appear (same as if you Cmd+Tab into it accidentally).
The combination of the two makes it really easy to accidentally activate 1P keyboard shortcuts :/
