1Password for Safari isn't working on macOS 14.2 BETA
I just updated both of my Macs last night (Developer Beta 14.2) and the Safari extension simply does not work anymore. Can't unlock. It only opens a blank screen when I try to either unlock or access settings.
1Password Version: 18.10.20
Extension Version: 2.16.0
OS Version: macOS 14.2
Browser: Safari 17.2

The temporary fix for this under Sonoma 14.2 Beta 2 was to clear your browser history - which worked, but I hated losing all that history under the profile.
Was getting the same behavior you're describing, under Beta 3, and I tried clearing "Today and Yesterday" history, and 1Password is back to working. I'm not sure how much or little history you need to delete to get it working, but I was happy to only lose 2 days rather than all in the current profile.
Good luck!

Clearing all history and restarting Safari worked for me

Helllo,
1Password plugin is not working in Safari under macOS 14.2 Beta 3. The plugin is totally dead. When clicked it opens an empty web browser tab.
Otherwise, 1Password App is working and so is the plugin on Chrome.
Any hints on how to proceed? I did remove/re-install and update both App and Safari plugin.

I am also and I tried removing the browser history and restarting safari this didn't resolve the issue. I have also tried various other things like reinstalling both 1password and extension, beta safari etc. No luck , any clue on how to resolve?

I'm sorry that you're both still seeing the issue, can you confirm that you're both running macOS 14.2 beta 3?
I look forward to hearing from you.

Things are not back on tracks because there is a bypass to make it work
The problem is with 1Password for Safari and/or 1Password itselfIf we need to delete history everyt time an update of MacOs comes, this is a problem that is not resolved
