I sent a diagnostic to the 1Pwd team.
The next day, they sent me this solution by email:
Thanks for sending over that diagnostics report. It shows that there is at least one draft item that is somewhat "stuck" between being saved and being discarded, which will most likely explain the situation in this case.
The solution in this case should be to reset 1Password on your Mac. Here's what to do:
⚠️ The following steps will archive 1Password's local database, including accounts, Logins, passwords, and other data. Please make sure that you can sign in to https://start.1password.com/signin/ and find all the items you would expect before proceeding.
• Check that you have a copy of your Emergency Kit close to hand, or another device where you're still signed in to 1Password, and that you know your account password.
• Open and unlock 1Password.
• Click the 🔽 down arrow at the top of the sidebar and choose Settings.
• On the Advanced tab, click "Reset 1Password".
• You'll then be prompted to sign back in to your 1Password account. This will force a full re-sync with 1Password.com and there will be no more draft items in the local database.
This solution worked perfectly. After clicking on reset, 1Pwd closed immediately. Once I restarted 1Pwd on my Mac, 1Pwd didn't ask me for the recovery key or my email, it only requested my password. Then my items were downloaded, and the issue was gone! Thank you to the 1Pwd team for the efficiency of quickness of the treatment of my case.
