1Password using wrong accent color on Windows 10
With the most recent update (1Password for Windows 8.11.16 (81116035)), the app started using the wrong accent color when set to system default. This applies to any accent color, not just the default blue. See the attached screenshot, which shows the Windows accent color next to the 1Password app (using the wrong color).
Hello folks,
We’ve been evolving our design language across 1Password to create a more consistent experience. As part of this, we’ve removed support for system accent colours so the app looks and feels the same across Mac, Windows, and the browser. This helps ensure a more cohesive and predictable experience, no matter where you’re using 1Password.
We understand this is a change from what you’re used to, and we really appreciate the feedback. It helps shape how we continue to evolve 1Password’s design language. I’ll go ahead and close this thread since this specific issue is no longer reproducible based on these recent design updates.

1P_SimonH Did your team actually remove this option instead of fixing it?

Hi Alexei_Drekker,
The setting to use system accent colours has been removed in order to offer a more consistent design experience across the app.
If you have any feedback about this change, let us know by opening a new thread and we'll be happy to pass your thoughts along to the team.

Right. Break basic long standing features and then instead of fixing them, remove them outright. I knew this would be your company's response.

1P_SimonH Is this still a priority? It's been three revs without a fix, and it's quite distracting.

Hi PatientHawk,
Apologies for the slow response as I catch up after some time away. This is still on our radar, but I can't speak to the timing of a fix.

Hi PatientHawk and Former Member,
Thanks for raising this! I can confirm we have a bug logged for this, but the good news is that a fix is in the works. I'll update this thread when that's live.

I'm seeing the same thing on Windows 11 24H2 with 1Password for Windows 8.11.16 (81116035).
If I uncheck the Use device accent color it uses the correct device accent color, but is orange when that option is checked.
