All Caps bug after 1password requests Windows PIN
Hi,
I'm experiencing a very strange bug when 1Password prompts for Windows PIN. It is an inconsistent issue that seems to mostly occur if I have not unlocked the app and click the little 1Password icon on a login field. Usually unlocking 1password is done using SSO via our Microsoft accounts however if clicking the little icon before unlocking instead a Windows PIN prompt pops up. This wouldn't normally be an issue but this also triggers some kind of setting change in the keyboard which results in all keypresses being registered as SHIFT + "keypress", if caps lock is turned on the letters will be small but number presses still result in symbols instead of the numbers. The only ways to revert this change is by restarting the PC or by closing the PIN prompt and then holding both SHIFT keys to perform a soft reset of all keyboard settings. This issue only occurs when 1Password activates the PIN prompt in Windows, any other time a PIN is required no such issue occurs.

Hi 1P_Gem thank you for the quick reply. I tried searching the forum for an existing post but could not find anything. Glad to know that the issue is solved in a newer version. Our company has not yet pushed out the latest release and we are still running 8.10 . I will let the responsible person know that we need the update. Thanks again.

Hi Clouding, I'm sorry to hear that you're running into keyboard issues when 1Password calls up a Windows Hello PIN prompt.
This sounds like a known issue that was recently fixed. Could you open the 1Password desktop app, go to Settings > About, and make sure that it's updated to version 8.12.1?
