This has now happened a couple of times, and it puzzles me. Typically, I set my laptop to "hibernate" overnight. It will, of course, still randomly do Windows Updates etc while hibernating and genera...

3 years agoHey Ziggy_Stahdust! It sounds like the extension has a hard time connecting with the app after you've logged back on. When the extension hangs again, please do the following:
- Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and choose Settings.
- Under General, disable "Integrate with 1Password app".
- Re-enable "Integrate with 1Password app".
If that doesn't work, leave the "Integrate with 1Password app" option turned off. Quit the 1Password app fully, quit your browser, restart the app, open your browser, and try unlocking the extension. It's important to unlock the app before unlocking the extension in your browser.
As for the email notifications for signing in via Edge, that can be attributed to clearing your cache and cookies there. Anytime you clear your cache and cookies, you'd have to sign back in with all your info (Secret Key + Account Password). For 1Password, that's like signing in to the browser for the first time, and we'd notify you of it. I'm not sure why you wouldn't get a notification email about this for signing back into Firefox, but since you're getting two emails, perhaps one is related to your other browser. That said, I wouldn't recommend clearing your cache and cookies next time. Please try the above steps first - if clearing your cache and cookies is necessary, we will let you know.
Please keep us up to date on how things go. Talk to you again soon!
