Editing 1Password entries on desktop

Did you download 1Password from the Mac App Store or from our website? I ask because the version from the Mac App Store requires a 1Password Membership to work, and if you don't add it to the app, it becomes read only, which sounds like what is happening to you on this Mac.

If you bought a standalone license in the past instead, make sure to https://1password.com/downloads/mac/ instead, and add your license to it to activate it.
