Great! Here's what to do next:
- Open the "1Password for Safari" app. If you're not sure where to find it, open the Finder and click the Go menu > Applications.
ℹ️ If it's not there, you'll need to install it from the App Store here: 1Password for Safari on the Mac App Store.
In "1Password for Safari", click "Open Safari Preferences". Make sure that "1Password for Safari" is turned on and that any other older 1Password extensions are turned off.
Click "Always Allow on Every Website", shown below, and confirm.
ℹ️ If you don't see that "Always Allow on Every Website" button, you've probably already clicked it. To check, click "Edit Websites" instead and make sure that all options are set to Allow, like this:
Remember to scroll down and choose "Allow" on every option in that list.
Close the "1Password for Safari" window – it doesn't need to be open for 1Password to work in Safari.
If you don't see 1Password in the toolbar of Safari, follow the instructions here to add it: If you don't see the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar — Safari.
That's it! 1Password in Safari is now set up and is ready to use.
You can find out more about how to use 1Password in the browser here: Get started with 1Password in your browser.
