No import from 1Password 7?
After hesitating a long time I decided to upgrade to 1Password 8. I created a account, installed the app and wondered, no way to migrate my data from 1Password 7. There is no dialog to import as described, the alternative to import a file fault cannot be found and the export options of 7 does not match the import options of 8. The only way seems to be the csv-import which is really cumbersome. That is really the first application I experienced, which is not able to use the data from the previous version. Very frustating. If csv is the only option, I will switch to another product, cannot be worse.

- 1P_DaveModerator Hello sobimibos! 👋 Welcome to the community! I'm happy to answer your questions regarding upgrading to 1Password 8 and migrating your data. As a start, there's no need to export your data when upgrading to 1Password 8. We have an upgrade guide here that details the different options available based on your situation: Upgrade to 1Password 8 So that I can understand how you were using 1Password before upgrading can you tell me the following: - Do you already have a 1Password account? Or were you using a standalone vault?
- If you already have an account, do you see all of your items when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)?

I look forward to hearing from you.-Dave - sobimibosNew MemberI'm using a standalone vault with 1Password 7. I now created an account, but it's empty. I tried to connect 1Password 7 to this account, but this was declined ("you have to upgrade"). Also I cannot find the mentioned import option for the standalone vault in 1Password 8. - 1P_DaveModerator I'm sorry that you're having issues signing into your 1Password account using 1Password 7 so that you can migrate your items. Please send an email to support@1Password.com and include a link to this thread. After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I'll be able to locate your message and make sure it gets to our Migration team so that they can help further. -Dave
