Opening 1Password in Chrome is very slow

I don't know what's going on but this morning I was not able to open click the 1Password by clicking on the Chrome browser extension icon. I clicked and clicked and nothing happened. I verified that ...

Hello liangpig1! 👋

Thank you for the reply. It sounds like the communication between the desktop app and 1Password in the browser isn't working, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Try this:

  1. Open and unlock the 1Password for Mac desktop app.
  2. Click on 1Password next to the  in the menu bar.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Browser.
  5. Make sure that "Connect with 1Password in the browser" is on.

Then in the browser:

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings.
  3. Turn "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" off.
  4. Turn "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" back on.

If that still doesn't work then do you see a green dot in the browser settings page? Or a different coloured dot and an error message?
