Hey 1Password support team.
For anyone else struggling with this, here's what I did that made it work after trying everything in this thread with no luck.
Context: I added a passkey to my Google account while signed in to 1Password for macOS (and, in turn, Chrome). When trying to test that the passkey works on the Google test page, I clicked the little passkey/FIDO key button on the 1Password pop-up to get to the QR code. On my iPhone, I opened the QR scanner and scanned the code, and received the screen showing that there are no matches. Trying to search for my Google account on my phone crashed 1Password and the Google passkey verification failed.
The problem was finally solved very easily. It was because my 1Password for macOS app was still logged in and active. After quitting 1Password, I tried again the same way (this time the pop-up said to log in to 1Password; I did not, and only clicked the passkey/FIDO key icon.) Boom! Passkey sign-in successful.
Just thought I'd let anyone else who stumbles upon this thread know.
