Password generator "Copy" button not working in Firefox
Hello,
I'm having an issue where the "Copy" button in the Password generator (the one that pops up from the form's password field) is not working in Firefox. I checked Chrome and it's working fine there.
For reference:
- Firefox: 135.0.1
- 1Password extension: 8.10.62.27 (STABLE channel)
Thanks
Hello shingy! 👋
I'm sorry that the Copy button isn't working when you generate a password from the inline password generator in Firefox. I've reproduced the same issue here on my end and I've filed a bug report with our development team to get this fixed.
For the time being, as a workaround, you can use the password generator in the pop-up: Create a custom password

Hi - this issue is still present a year after being reported. When do you expect it to be fixed? Thanks.

The issue is still open in our backlog, but other items have taken priority so far. Once it’s resolved, you’ll see it mentioned in our release notes
For the time being, copying a generated password from the pop-up in the toolbar continues to be the best workaround. We’re unable to provide a timeline for when the issue will be resolved. I’m sorry for the continued inconvenience.
