Problem connecting the Mac desktop app to the Chrome browser extension
I am unable to connect my Mac desktop app to my Chrome browser extension and I can't find anything in the community discussion board to help.
Mac: MacBook Air 2017 running Monterey v. 12.7.6.

If you're still experiencing the behaviour, you can reproduce an attempt to unlock the 1Password extension in your browser while your desktop app is locked or unlocked, then share the requested diagnostics using the steps mentioned here. Let me know if you run into any trouble.
Happy to hear that you were able to get things working after turning on "Connect with 1Password in your browser" within the 1Password desktop app settings under Settings > Browser.

If you're adding an additional browser that isn't supported under the "Connect to additional browsers" section, are you continuing to experience the the "Connect with 1Password in your browser" setting switch off any time you add or remove a browser from the list? Is it occurring when adding a specific browser?
