3 months agoHi wagnerone / Mike,
I understand that it is time-consuming to go through that many profiles. Currently, our developers are working with Apple/Safari to improve the overall user experience. Working better with multiple Safari profiles is one of the things we are investigating. I'm sorry about the inconvenience and confusion it caused.
Meanwhile, instead of turning off the integration settings for each profile in Safari, you can turn off the switch in the 1Password desktop app. This way, 1Password for Safari web extension will work independently in all profiles. Here are the steps:
- Open & unlock 1Password 8 for Mac.
- Click the 1Password menu on the top-left corner beside the .
- Select Settings....
- Go to the "Browser" tab.
- Turn off the
"Connect with 1Password in your browser"
option.
Once you have done the above. You can unlock 1Password in each profile separately. However, you will need to enable the Touch ID feature for each profile as the option is not enabled by default.
Hope the above helps. Let us know if you have any other questions.
