Testing passkey support. Is it supposed to be this difficult?
What I read was that I could log in with biometrics on another device, but my experience leaves a bit to be desired:
Trying to log in with a device that already has 1Password installed is seamless...

I had not tried in a while after failed attempts to get a Yahoo passkey in US besides the Japan area.
So just tried yesterday and sorta accidentally after trying several times to get one it finally happened and I was successful.
After my first attempt after saving the passkey to 1Password and then trying to use it, it would still prompt a QR code that was not necessary for my basic iOS sign in.
What I noticed was if I am right about this my hardware key being enabled on Yahoo caused the repeated passkey QR code even after I got a passkey.
So I removed my hardware key and then went back to one time password authentication and after that the passkey worked without the QR code and it just recognized the passkey and then website server wanted the one time authentication in addition which is fine.
With passkey I probably do not need the hardware key for Yahoo, but I still keep 2fa enabled, because they still allow password attempts even if you get a passkey for now.
So I am good and happy that I have a passkey that works on yahoo.
