Web Extension has memory leak

I am using iMac 2017

OS: Version 13.7.8

Safari: 18.6

1password: 18.12.6

This has happened several times. The 1password we extension will consume massive amounts of memory. over 2 gig. This time I was not able to easily start my Mac from sleep mode. I had to wait a long time for the Mac to respond. It seems like the we extension just keeps consuming memory. Currently the extension is using 219.4 mb of memory.

I just had another run away with the web extension. Maxed my memory and killed my browser.

    27.9 GB!!!

1Password now using 286.8 mb of ram. I sent the diagnostic file as requested.

    How to duplicate issue? Simple:

    1. Start safari
    2. screen shot how much memory web extension is using
    3. do not close safari
    4. check memory used every day
    5. you will see web extension using more memory every day until one day you try to log onto your Mac and you can't. 100% of memory is used and Mac is cacheing. Machine will run very slow until you're able to close safari. Eventually forcing a reboot of your machine to clear memory.
    6. Rinse and repeat
