Thank you for reaching out! When you save a passkey using 1Password in the browser, that passkey will be saved in 1Password and you'll be able to see the passkey in your Login item:
That being said, I see that you're using 1Password 7 which is an older and unsupported version of 1Password that doesn't have the ability to save or view passkeys. I recommend that you upgrade to 1Password 8:
Once upgraded, you'll also need to install the modern version of 1Password for Safari: ‎1Password for Safari on the Mac App Store

I'd like to create one in both Apple and 1P for redundancy but I need to make sure they are backup up first.
I don't recommend using two different password managers at the same time since that can create confusion. When you install 1Password, 1Password becomes your passkey manager on your devices rather than the built-in password manager.
