I have 1Password 6 - Do I need a new license key to upgrade? I have my original license key but it didn't work.

    1Password 7 is indeed a paid update and so requires a new licence. It isn't the only way to use 1Password 7 though as our 1Password accounts, our subscription based service where we host your encrypted data also entitles members of the account to use the current version of 1Password on all supported platforms.

    what’s new in 1Password 7 for Mac will cover what is in 1Password 7 and if you're curious about the 1Password accounts you can learn more by starting on our 1Password website. I think everybody already intuitively knows what a licence entails so we don't have anything that explicitly covers that.
