1password 7 download exec will not run [Install 1Password 7.2 first]

Trying to upgrade from 4 to 7 and after downloading the file (multiple times) 7.3.657 it will not run.
I uninstalled 4, I tried running as admin, windows 10 is up to date.
Please tell what I'm doing wrong.

Tried save mode also and still will not run setup

Also I turned off all security software

I am also having a similar issue. I have downloaded the installation and when I run this, nothing launches - no installer nothing. I am running Windows 10 Professional with all latest updates.

Downloaded the older install exec found on another post and it worked.

I have the same problem. On Windows 10 1PasswordSetup-7.3.657.exe won't run.

Hi guys,

Did you try 1Password 6 in the past? 1Password 7.3 has a known glitch where it can't open the older database, we're working on fixing it.

1Password 7.2 will work with the older database and update it, so that it'll update to 1Password 7.3 just fine; you can find it here: https://c.1password.com/dist/1P/win6/1PasswordSetup-7.2.617.exe
