Are the daily local backups for 1Password 7 encrypted?

Thanks for asking and never feel silly to ask!

Yes, your 1Password backups are encrypted. We actually just compress and make a copy of the encrypted vault folder.

I'll even go further, nothing is ever saved on your disk that's not encrypted with the exception of the file attachments you save to disk.
