I have the "include betas" preference turned off, but when I open the contextual menu to use 1Password, it says it is a beta. I am running 3.9.2.39203. Is this a mistake?

You are in the Chrome extension beta channel but not the 1Password application beta channel.

Since the extensions are sandboxed, installed, and updated independently from the 1Password application they also need to have their own stable/beta channels.

For more details please see the "My application version does not match the version in my browsers" section in the User Guide:

    http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/version_number_differences.html

You opted in to the beta version of the extension when you checked the box to "Allow beta extensions" on the extension installation page.

To switch to the stable channel, simply remove the beta extension and reinstall the stable version.

If we can be of further assistance, please let us know. We are always here to help! :)
