I can't get the app to load

in 1Password 7 for Windows

I just signed up, created my master password, but the app won't load. I get this message:
1Password for Windows desktop has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program.

1Password Version: Not Provided
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Not Provided
Sync Type: Not Provided

    Are you on Windows 7 by chance, @gsilver792? This sounds like what happens when your version of the .NET framework is too old for 1Password. 1Password needs at least .NET 4.6.2 and, unlike Windows 10, Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 don't come with a new enough version of .NET. Try installing .NET 4.7.2 from Microsoft:

    https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download

    Make sure to choose the .NET Framework Runtime. Once installed, uninstall 1Password from Control Panel if it's there, then give installing 1Password 7 another go. Let me know if that gets things up and running for you. :+1:
