What 1Password beta version are you currently using?
The 1Password updater is not meant to be run externally from 1Password. That dialog indicates that you may have clicked on the updater icon in the dock's "recently launched applications" section.
How can we avoid this scenario possibility?
By only using the 1Password updater from within the 1Password Preferences > Updates tab > and clicking on the Check Now button.
