installing the edge browser extension for 1password 6

I'm running 1Password 6 on my Mac, and I want to install the Chrome extension into my Edge browser. I set the Allow extensions from other stores setting appropriately, but I can only find the 1Password X version of the extension, which is not compatible with my 1Password 6. In my Chrome browser, I see that I use the extension named, 1Password extension (desktop app required). How do I install that one into Edge?

I was able to find the Chrome extension named 1Password extension (desktop app required) using an advanced search, but when I install it into Edge, I see a different menu... Is it not compatible?

Hi @phadley!

I believe that Edge support is only available in the beta channel of 1Password version 7 at the moment, so you will have to upgrade your app first.
