Missing categories

in 1Password 3 – 7 for Mac

I am running 1password 6.8.8 on my MacBook air and synching with iPhone and iPad over iCloud. The categories such as Credit Cards, WiFi, etc. have disappeared on my MacBook, but not on my other devices. How do I get the categories to display again on MacBook?

    If you see the word Categories, just to the side of it, there is the word show/hide. Please click there. The word will not be shown until you hover over the same line as Categories. My pointer is hidden in this screenshot.

    That was the problem. Some how that setting got flipped to hidden and the interface is not intuitive. Thanks for your help!
