    @tienthanh411 – I know this is a pretty old thread, but I'm wondering if you can expand on how passwords are transferred from the 1Password app to Safari now that 1Password is using a Safari App Extension.

    I wasn't able to find any documentation on this for 1Password.

    I'm assuming SFSafariApplication is involved, but I'm curious about the relationship between 1Password, the 1Password Extension Helper, and the 1Password Safari App Extension when it comes to sending passwords from 1Password to Safari.

    @wilsac,

    SFSafariApplication is used in general, but not for sending passwords across. Passwords are also only sent across as part of a filling solution at the time the user requests a particular credential be filled into a page.
