I know! I also use Windows. But Linux seems to be the first environment, where new features are tested. ;)

I only wanted to say that something is happening in the near future concerning attachments.

@DenalB Is your statement regarding attachments based on official word from 1password?

No. It’s not an official statement…

Okay, just wanted to know since I have some attachments stuck in limbo, because I added them in the Linux client and now I can't access them in the Windows client. :(

Maybe @MikeT can say something in detail if there is a Windows desktop app beta planned which has this attachment feature coming soon. ;)

    Hi @Liazard 👋

As DenalB mentioned, attaching documents directly to items is something we've recently introduced in 1Password for Linux -- we are working heavily on cross platform feature parity at the moment, so you can rest assured this is front-and-foremost on our radar.

I have to say I'm a bit puzzled that 1Password doesn't respond definitively on these matters, or make improvements on a faster timeline.

Since timelines can change, we don't announce them, so we don't provide any inaccurate information. Our goal is to make 1Password the best it can be, but good things can sometimes take time -- feedback like this is a big driver for us, we really do appreciate you sticking with us. 😊
