Steps to produce

Visit FreeAnnualCreditReport.com and attempt to complete the form requesting your credit report (no need to actually request the report)
In the fields where it ask for identification, you will find:

FIRST NAME
MIDDLE INITIAL
LAST NAME

Expected behavior

I expected the program to know the difference between MIDDLE INITIAL and MIDDLE NAME and automatically fill the form correctly using either the full middle name or selecting only the first letter of the middle name.

Actual behavior

If fills the MIDDLE NAME no matter what.

  • @FogCityNative,

The filling engine doesn't currently distinguish between middle initial and middle name. A request has been filed to add that functionality.
