Hi there,
When 1p was automatically upgraded from 7.6.780 to the latest version, it reported an error [1Password was unable to complete installation and will roll back any changes].
When I manually download the latest version installation package from the 1p official website and use administrator role run it, it prompts the same error.
I checked 1password log file, but I can't find any error related to upgrade and db, that is so strange, can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @v37h,

Thank you for reporting this! Sorry for the troubles.

Are you running any kind of AV/anti-malware software on your PC? If you have such software, please try to whitelist 1Password and its app directory %LOCALAPPDATA%\1Password\ in there and check if the issue with the update remains. We have seen similar reports in the past, so it is worth a try.

Let me know how it goes. Thank you! :+1:

    Cheers,
    Greg

    Hi @Greg,

    Thank you for your answer.
I installed Kaspersky and HuoRong AV/anti-malware software, When I stopped and closed Kaspersky and HuoRong, 1Password update was successful, so now 1Password work normal! Many thanks!
