Is there a way to use the new Dell XPS 13 fingerprint function to log into 1Password?
It's driving me crazy that every time I get out and then back into Firefox I have to re-enter my long master password. Is there a way that I can sync my Win10 Dell New XPS 13 PC fingerprint pad function to allow it to automatically unlock 1Password? Or, ideally, since I'm the only one on my PC, I'd like to do away with ever having to enter in my 1Password password, or at least not have to enter it unless I power down/up my PC.
1Password Version: 7.6.785
Extension Version: 1.22.2
OS Version: Win 10.0.19041 Build 19041
Sync Type: Not Provided

Hi @bobriensan,
Thank you for getting in touch and using 1Password! Sorry for these difficulties with 1Password in your browser.
It sounds like you use 1Password X in Firefox on your Dell laptop. 1Password X works entirely in the browser, so it doesn't work with Windows Hello, which is supported in 1Password 7 for Windows:
Use Windows Hello to unlock 1Password on your Windows PC
We have plans to bring the desktop app integration to 1Password X on Windows, but I do not have anything specific to share at this point. If you want to use Windows Hello and your fingerprint scanner to unlock 1Password extension in the browser, please remove 1Password X and install our companion extension instead: https://1password.com/browsers/firefox/
Here is how you can use it:
Use the 1Password extension to save and fill passwords on your Windows PC
Please give it a try and let me know how it works for you. Thanks! :+1:
