    I can't seem to download the 1password update (7.7) on my new machine. I have 7.6 already installed and on the App Store it is saying there is an update to 7.7 unfortunately when I go through the update process I get a message that says "click continue to update' but it stops updating at the final hurdle.

    1Password Version: 7.6
    Extension Version: Not Provided
    OS Version: Big Sur
    Sync Type: iCloud

    Hi @thneale! Welcome to the forum!

    1Password mini might still be running in your menu bar. Can you please try quitting 1Password completely (right-click on 1Password mini in the menu bar at the top right of your screen > Quit 1Password Completely), and see if you can continue the update?

    hello, no the 1password isn't in my menu bar :-(

    Thank you for the confirmation. Do you see an error message of some sort when this happens? It would also be useful if you could post a screenshot of what you see when this happens.
