I subscribe to the password manager to add security. but I want to change all the password for everything that I use before storing them in the password manager. so whats the more secure and best way to go about it?

If you don't want to enter your existing passwords, you will just have to type them manually on the change password page of your websites, and let 1Password do the rest.
