Help! Can't install 1Password - S mode only runs Microsoft-verified apps
I'm trying to install 1Password and I keep getting a message that 'S mode only run Microsoft-verified apps'
Appreciate any assistance anyone can offer, 1Password is my lifeline for work and I can't get a thing done, having to look up passwords on my phone and enter them manually is not efficient. 8-)

Sounds like you are running Microsoft Windows 10 S - unfortunately this operating system only allows microsoft verified apps (ie apps from the microsoft store) to be installed and run on your machine.
If you would like to disable this, please see this article from Microsoft - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/switching-out-of-s-mode-in-windows-10-4f56d9be-99ec-6983-119f-031bfb28a307

Hey @CottageKeeper 🏡
Just as @brian1217 mentioned above, since Microsoft restricts folks to using only Microsoft Store-sourced apps when using Windows 10 S -- you'll need to switch out of S Mode before installing 1Password for Windows.
If you're unable to switch out of S Mode, though, you could always install 1Password X for Edge, or even use the 1Password.com web app!
