My iMac running Big Sur is not showing the Apple Watch Option in 7.7

edited January 8 in Apple Watch

After installing the latest version (7.7) from the Apple App Store, I do not see the Apple Watch feature. I am running Big Sur on an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017). Big Sur is at version 11.1. See the attached screenshot.

    @groverscorner

    Apple Watch Unlock is only supported on Macs that have a Secure Enclave. We feel the sensitive nature of storing your passwords and other important information warrants the use of the additional security provided by the Secure Enclave.

    Our Apple Watch Unlock help topic lists the Mac's supported.

    • iMac Pro 2017 and newer
    • iMac 27-inch 2020 and newer
    • MacBook Pro 2016 and newer
    • MacBook Air 2018 and newer
    • Mac mini 2018 and newer
    • Mac Pro 2019 and newer
  • That makes sense. Thanks Tommy.
