Browser plug-in suggestions not working correctly (Mac v7.7)

Hello. I've been having a problem since v7.7 on Catalina with the Firefox browser plug-in not pulling up suggestions the way it's always worked in previous versions. There was another thread this week https://1password.community/discussion/118565/several-annoying-issues-on-my-mac#latest where the OP had a very similar issue, and the suggestion was to remove the thing that was continually being suggested. That's not a fix.

When I visit a site's login page and hit CMD-/, the suggestion box pops open as usual. However, though the "Suggestions" pulldown item has the correct URL listed, the items in the suggestion list are completely wrong, and seem to show the first available item in my Vault list (or at least my Personal logins; I have several vaults in use, over two accounts - Families and Teams).

If I start typing the URL in, after the very first character I type I get the correct login showing. It's almost like I have to "wake up" 1P to get it to put the right suggestions on the screen. However, the problem doesn't go away after that, it's EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to a new login page, or even just clicking away from the Suggestions window and trying again, by either clicking on the 1P icon in the browser or by hitting the shortcut on the keyboard.

I know I'm not the only person seeing this on the Mac version, as I have several other techs on my Team who confirmed it's a problem for them as well. All of us are running v7.7.

    It sounds like the Mac app may be offering all items instead of suggestions. Can you try the following and let me know how it goes?

    1. Open 1Password > Preferences > Mini and change the Open 1Password To -- to anything other than suggestions.
    2. Look for our helper in the menu bar near the WiFi indicator and the clock. Right-click on the helper and select quit 1Password completely. Wait a few seconds and then open 1Password from the Dock or the Applications folder.
    3. Open 1Password > Preferences > Mini and change the Open 1Password To -- to suggestions

    Hey @ag_tommy , that seems to have cleared the issue! I was using Favorites and not Suggestions, but flipping it to All Items, restarting and putting the setting back to Favorites is now working as expected on the several sites I noticed the issues happening on. I'll reboot my system over the weekend and check to make sure this fix sticks, but I'd say the prognosis is good! Thanks again.
