Registering Yubikey 5Ci

Hello,

I have purchased both a Yubikey 5NFC (USB-a) and a 5Ci (USB-c and Lightening).

I am able to register my 5NFC with 1Password on my late 2012 iMac as it has USB-A ports.

However I don't own any other computer device with USB-C or Lightening, so my question is how to I register my 5Ci?

Am I able to log into 1Password.com website on my iPad, and register the 5Ci via connection to the iPad Lightening port?

Yes, it should work. One of my colleagues who has the same YubiKey 5 Ci gave it a test. I only have a USB C version and a NFC.
