When will 1Password X support touchID integration?

I recall touchID ("desktop app integration") being removed from 1Password X beta several months ago, with the promise that it would return to at least the Beta by EoY 2020. It's February 2021, and the lack of touchId support is still a massive source of friction in your user experience. To be honest, it really makes 1password X a downgrade from 1Password Mini. I have to enter my password at least 5 times a day, whereas with Mini, I would only need to do it once every two weeks.

What is the timeline for re-introducing desktop app integration to either the Beta or the official version of 1Password X?

    Any update on this? I do deeply regret the upgrade to 1Password 7 at this point... I oughta use Chrome for work and I'm typing the damn password (very long too) 20+ times a day. I really miss 1Password mini and the possibility to unlock 1Password with the touch id.

    With the help of the latest beta release of 1Password in the browser it should be possible again. :)
