Problem with chrome extension on mac

I have a Red ! in my extension on chrome, on my mac. It says Could not sync because the 1Password database was replaced or was recreated. You can fix this problem by reinstalling the extension.

I reinstalled the browser extension twice. How do I fix this?

    I'm sorry about the delay, we're dealing with some illnesses on the team.

    As for the issue you're having, did you first remove the extension, restart Chrome, install it again and then restart Chrome?

    The issue you're having is that the Chrome extension doesn't match the data file you have in the main 1Password app on the Mac. I assume you don't switch data files at all with 1Password, right?
