Custom application integration
As a long-term user (Desktop, Dropbox-Sync) I've been enjoying my 1Password for years now. Besides being a Windows-Developer, I wonder from times to times if it would be possible to integrated the password safe into my own apps (.NET desktop clients). Since there are various browsers that are able to access it (via plug-ins) there seems to be a possibility.
Is there an official way of connecting to the local app from a custom application?

Hi @MatthiasL, thanks so much for writing in - that's a great question! Currently we do not offer any ways for external apps to interact with the 1Password apps.
That said, we do offer a command-line interface that you can use for your own workflows - you can find it at the link below:

Thanks for the info :) It‘s really a pity, but honestly I didn‘t had any expectations. The CLI is not really an alternative to a classic interface library or some webservice.
If the situation ever changes, I would be pleased to integrate the application.
