Master Password will not open Windows App

Hello, I have a stand alone version of Windows 4.6 on my pc. Today I decided to update to the subscription version. I can successfully login to 1password.com from my pc browser and i was successfully setting up my cell phone and my wife cell phone. Both are working correctly. The problem is back at my pc. I downloaded the new version and installed it but when I enter my master password (which I know is correct) The windows app will not login. (I still have version 4.6.2 installed on the same pc with version 7) Can both apps run on the same pc or do I need to uninstall 4.2? I would rather setup version 7 and confirm that it is working, before I uninstall version 4.6 ... Any suggestions?
