Having a weird issue with the desktop app, my master password wont work
So i've changed my master password in an attempt to make it a bit easier to remember while still unique relative to my other devices. Its all went well except on my 2nd pc.
It simply wont take on the desktop app. Weird thing is, it unlocked the browser extension just fine. Even if i copy the password from the browser extension TO the desktop app, its a no go. Will not unlock.
What on earth is going on? lol
I restarted the pc but no bueno.

Hi @klepp0906!
If you are using 1Password for Windows, please do the following:
- Open and unlock 1Password using your old Master Password.
- Click the red authentication error banner and sign in with your new Master Password.
At this point, you should be able to unlock the Windows app with your new Master Password too :+1:

wow. A) that was it. B) i dont use my secondary pc often and both my master passwords werent working. It was the 2nd one back. Ooof.
Not a fan of how that works. Should be able to sync that data like the extensions and apparently ios apps can. At least its sorted though. Thank you!
