Browser extension is beta?

In Chrome (and I believe Safari) on my Mac the 1Password extension calls itself "beta." I thought the extension was self-updating. Do I need to manually update the extension?

See this help topic Beta Extension Info and specifically note # 2 should you wish to go back to a stable series of the extension.

Hi @slessard,

Like Tom said, you'd have to reinstall the extension to get back to the stable version. Both stable and beta extensions have separate update tracks, they won't automatically switch over.
