It's not currently possible to change the order of default sections within an item, but this is certainly something on our radar! I've added your voice to an internal issue we have filed away just for this.
I am accomplishing this at the moment with cut/paste between fields. But, it I am afraid I might make a mistake at some point and drop an important secret.
+1 for me as well. This is the main missing feature for me from version 7. In that version you could rearrange whole sections as well as individual entries within sections. One thing it didn't let you do was rearrange some of the default entries or sections. I really hope reordering makes a return in version 8, and WHEN you do it, I hope you won't restrict reordering of the default fields, so that you can choose to order however your heart desires.
In 1P v7, there are up & down arrows to move the custom fields. However, in 1P v8, there isn't any option to move the fields, or maybe I am missing something.

Moving fields has not been implemented in the latest Early Access version yet, but our developers are aware of the request. I have let them know that you would also like to have this :+1:

Is reordering sections when editing entries a feature that won't be part of upcoming versions after 7? The website doesn't allow it, either.
Along with the old issue of not being able to remove or edit form fields that 1password fills, this seems like a potential future annoyance.
Please add the ability to reorder sections!

Noted for the team review. :+1:
This was a feature in 1Password 7, the ability to drag and drop fields to re-order them. It's something that I used a lot.
Put me down as a +1 for this feature, this is a big quality of life issue for me!

+1 for the ability to rearrange whole sections (at least for the custom fields)!
+1 for me also :) I just noticed it trying to re-arrange the order of the URLs and it's not possible in v8.
@nimvio, @JohnnyFJohnsson:
Thank you both for chiming in!
+1 from me as well. It is impossible to arrange fields in even notes sections.

Fields are glued in place. Does even one user want that?
