4 years agoChrome extension not working on Mac. Opens desktop version instead
Ctrl+shift+X opens the desktop version instead (running 7.8.6). Autofill no longer working. There seems to be no way to unlock 1Password in the browser.
1Password Version: 7.8.6
Extension Version: 2.0.4
OS Version: OS X 10.15.7
Sync Type: dropbox

Glad to hear you're up and going again. No worries on the typo. Been there, done that. A lot in all my years, :chuffed:

@NYcookie
You mentioned a Mac in your answers. Please try command+ shift + x, ctrl would be used on windows. If that was a typo, what happens when you use the shortcut?
Here's how to quit 1Password completely using our helper in the menu bar. It may get you going.
- Look for our helper in the menu bar near the WiFi indicator and the clock. Right-click (Option-click) on the helper and select quit 1Password completely.
- Quit your browser.
- Wait a few seconds and then open 1Password from the Dock or the Applications folder and unlock
- Open your browser.
