Possible to Import Data From v6.1 to v7.86?
I have a stand alone version of 1Password (ver 6.1) on an iPad (4th generation, iOS ver 10.3.4). Today I installed 1Password (ver 7.8.6) on my MacBookPro (OS ver 10.13.6). If possible I'd like to import 367 Logins (probably can reduce this number as some may no longer be in use) into version 7.
I did not install 1Password v7 on my iPad because I'm not sure it can handle the install and I didn't want to possibly affect ver 6.1 currently residing on my iPad.
I searched the forum under Legacy 3-6 and could not find info to assist. Hoping someone can direct me to the document or reply with info or tell me I need to open a support ticket with 1Password.
Appreciate any info, thank you.
1Password Version: 6.1, 7.8.6

OS Version: iOS 10.3.4, OS 10.13.6

Hi @ZoeAngEva!
If your data is synced to iCloud, you don't even need to do anything on the iPad, you could just configure your 1Password for Mac app on the MacBook to use the existing vault. After installing the app on your Mac, you should have seen an option to choose where your data is stored, and iCloud should have been in the list already.
What do you see when you open 1Password for Mac now?

Ag_ana, thank you for replying so quickly. Sorry I didn't reply. Life got in the way and I didn't come back to see your reply.
At install I don't remember a prompt but more likely I was probably prompted and didn't understand and moved on.
On my iPad, 1 Password 6.1 is turned on to sync to iCloud, but when I checked iCloud Drive there isn't anything there related to 1Password except my emergency kit in the documents folder which I created when I installed the app on Jul 6. In fact I have no applications backed up on iCloud.
When I open 1Password 7.9.2 I see my ID card, Welcome message, and 1Password account. Basically empty since I haven't import anything. I'm still logging into Password 6.1, manually looking up passwords and using them to log into my various accounts. Tedious to say the least. During my downtime between Dec 27 to Jan 31 I wanted to finally get this handled.
Appreciate being directed to any docs on the forum or your assistance.

This is normal, you will not see 1Password data there because it uses CloudKit, not iCloud Drive, so the data is not visible.

I think the easiest way would be to sync your iCloud data on your Mac, and then move it to your 1Password account there. If you open 1Password for Mac and go to Preferences > Advanced tab, is the option Allow creation of vaults outside of 1Password accounts enabled?

Ag_ana,
- 'Allow creation of vaults...' is not enabled.
- My MAC (MacBookPro - Mid 2015, Mojave 10.14.6) is synched to iCloud (not applications, though)
- 1Password6 with all the data is on my iPad (4th generation).
Following your suggestion, how would I get my 1Password 6 data to my MacBookPro to then import to 1Password7 or to have access to it via the 'vault outside of 1Password?

Wanted to finish up and state that the data in my 1Password 6.1 on my iPad (3rd gen) was successfully transferred to 1Password 7 on my MacBookPro. In fact, successfully upgraded to 1Password 7 on my iPad, too. Laura Zooke is fantastic.
