4 years agoConsistent date format and preferrably in international format
The Windows desktop app and browser extensions show date formats in the confusing American format (MM/DD/YYYY) while the iOS app has dates in the international format (YYYY-MM-DD) which is what the standard should be across all platforms to avoid confusion.

American format is very confusing for us, especially if the date is in the 1st - 12th range. Note also the time is in AM/PM format, although this is not so much of an issue, but I do prefer 24-hour format
I totally agree and I am in Canada

I'm on MacOS 12.4 (Monterey) and dates of changes are showing up in 1Password 8 in American format (see image). My Mac is set to the UK locale with "GB" selected in my toolbar. Should this not be showing UK date in dd/mm/yyyy format? American format is very confusing for us, especially if the date is in the 1st - 12th range. Note also the time is in AM/PM format, although this is not so much of an issue, but I do prefer 24-hour format for the time. Any advice on this please? Thanks

Hi happycappie, we're working on it but I don't have any specific news to share on this yet - but we'll make sure to post in the forums and at https://releases.1password.com when we have more on this. 👍

When will the windows app reflect the localized settings of YYYY-MM-DD ?

In the latest beta, the date field is now localized but that's just the beginning. We haven't localized this in the other areas just yet.

Thanks for following up. I don't have any specifics to share, but I hope we'll have this smoothed out sooner, rather than later.

Bug is still appearing for
1Password for Windows 8.7.0
80700098, on PRODUCTION channel
My region settings format date as YYYY-MM-DD (May 4, 2022 in the screenshot), and 1Password still formats as DD/MM/YYYY

The bug still appears in 1pw8 "final" - Monday is shown as the start of the week in a date added to a note, even though my system is set to use Sunday as the start of the week.
