I think that this is known issue, if I remember correctly, I saw a thread where someone explained that the issue lurks somewhere around using too high resolution icons, which then gets downscaled improperly by Windows. Anyway, I can confirm that the issue is still exists, and tray icon is looking very sadly right now.
