Can't reconnect to Dropbox sync after deleting previous Dropbox sync connection

Yesterday I noticed 1Password stopped syncing with Dropbox, and persistently gave "sync failed" messages when I retried. Following the suggestion in a different post, I decided to delete my Dropbox sync connection and start over.

  • First I updated to 1Password 7.7.6
  • Went into Settings >Sync and deleted the Dropbox sync
  • Quit 1Password and restarted my phone
  • Opened 1Password
  • Went to Settings > Vaults > Primary > Start Syncing > Sync with Dropbox

At this point I get a screen that says "One moment please ..." and there it stays until I hit cancel. I've tried this several times, even leaving the phone alone for several hours, but nothing happens.

I'm looking for suggestions!
