Unlocking and repeatedly have to enter master PW

Win10, Chrome, McAfee
Having to re-enter master PW constantly DESPITE having app setting to lock after 12 hours and extension unlocked.
This has been an unresolved issue for several users over years searching through the forum.
Has there been a fix or not?
