Two machines, one master

in 1Password 3 – 7 for Mac

If I use the same master password on my Mac and my iPad, are those related keys as per the 256-bit post? Is there any other reason not to?

    1Password 4 for iOS uses the exact same data format and master password as 1Password 3 for Mac. Your master password is your master password no matter which device you are using. :)
